GENTRIFICATION IN MEXICO
May 7, 2024 by Puebla Camacho BR
Gentrification can have a major impact on Mexico’s real estate market. In the affected areas, property values tend to increase in value as new, higher-income residents arrive. This can lead to greater demand for properties by real estate investors and developers seeking to capitalize on the growing demand in these areas. Gentrification can drive urban renewal and revitalization which attracts more investors.
The development of infrastructure and services in these areas can offer additional business and investment opportunities. In Mexico some cities are experiencing Gentrification such as: Mexico City, especially in neighborhoods such as Roma, Condesa and Juárez, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Puebla.
